獲捐40萬霧峰警局電腦換新 - 聯合新聞網

台中市霧峰警分局長余輝茂不僅工作能力強，人緣亦佳，年前他遇到舊識、市警二分局警友辦事處主任何永銓，何表示想請霧峰員警吃尾牙，余輝茂婉拒了，未料何當場從口袋裡掏出一張20萬5千元的支票，表示願意以此取代尾牙交由霧峰警方運用。

余輝茂想到警分局電腦老舊，一直無經費可以汰換，於是欣然收下，加上余的好友霧峰農會總幹事黃景建日前亦捐贈了20萬元，余把兩筆錢共同用於警分局的電腦功能改善。
